This is pretty neat! I'm curious if you did the drawing portion in blender with the new 2D tools, or rendered it out first and then drew the eyes!

hi thank you! i used grease pencil, so the drawn parts (face + mouth) were attached to the head bone on the rig. the other effects are attached to the camera

Definitely dig the strange mix of both (stop motion/live?) and digital graphics, it creates this weird design that I'm not quite sure how to describe, but it's pretty cool
